Obituary of Robert Haskett

HASKETT – Robert:  Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 13^th, 2017.  Son of the Late Ernest and Carrie Haskett.  Much beloved husband of Sylveena for 60 years.  Loving father of Pam Jarvis, Colin and Elaine Gilbert (Jim).  Cherished grandfather of Jodie (Leigh), Hannah (Brandon), Justin (Sam), Wesley (Kristin), Rusty, Jesse (Katherine), and Hayley (Nathan).  Great-grandfather of Ainsleigh, Spencer, Dixon, Blair, Colton and Tessa.  Dear brother of Karl.  Also surviving is his sister-in-law Fran Haskett, brothers-in-law Jim McKillen, Paul Steen (Norma), David Steen (Marg), numerous nieces and nephews.  Robert was predeceased by his sisters Ruth, Lil, Anne, Bonnie, Carol, brothers Ernie, George and Paul.  In keeping with Robert’s wishes there will be no funeral service.  Cremation has taken place.  THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to make a donation in Robert’s memory are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.
