Obituary of Andre Van Assche

VAN ASSCHE – Andre Robin (Andy):  Passed away at his home in Mississauga, while surrounded by his family on Monday, January 1, 2018.  Formerly of Simcoe in his 58^th year.  Son of Betty Van Assche and the Late Triphon.  Beloved husband of over 35 years of Diane (Nee Gable).  Loving father of Jennifer and Andrew.  Cherished grandfather of Cynthia, Nathan and Zacky.  Also surviving is his inlaws Jim Gable (Dorothy), siblings Christa (David Kovacs), Willy (Chris Moodie), Brian Van Assche (Donna), Dale Van Assche (Beth), sister-in-law Alice Gable (Cam Taylor), brothers-in-law Jim and John Gable.  Andy was predeceased by his mother-in-law Shirley Gable.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, January 4^th, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe where the funeral will be held on Friday at 11 a.m.  Reverend Ward Taylor officiating followed by interment at Delhi Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in Andy’s memory are asked to consider Sinai Health Foundation.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
