Obituary of Katherine Ann Akins

Akins: Katherine Ann – passed away after a lengthy illness on February 21, 2018 in her 73^rd year. Daughter of Emilyne Vidler and the late Leslie Vidler (2002). Beloved mother of Les Akins (Ronna) and Steve Akins. Cherished Grandmother to Nathan, Riley and Reese. Also, surviving are her siblings Tedd Vidler, Nancy Butcher, Jon Vidler (Eileen), Robin Vidler (Linda), Malen Vidler (Linda). She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Sheila Vidler and brother-in-law Bill Bates. She was a prolific reader, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, pottery and ceramics. She was a fashion enthusiast with a never ending love for friends and family. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
