Obituary of Marion Virginia Walker

WALKER – Marion Virginia:  Passed away peacefully  at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, June 16, 2018 of Simcoe in her 88^th year.  Daughter of the Late Gordon and Hilda Thompson.  Much beloved wife of the Late Allan Walker (2001).  Dear friend of Bob Butler.  Loving mother of Dianna Wallace (Ken), Darlene Walker and Dennis Walker (Jacqueline).  Cherished grandmother of Michelle Milne-Wallace (Chris Gamble), Michael Greer (Joanna), Tracey Forrester (James), Holly Pierre (Nigel Espinoza) and Reg Walker (Jodi).  Great-grandmother of Khloe, Xander, Tyra, Sarah, Adelyn, Charlotte, Denzel, Aiden and Hudson.  Also surviving is her brother Keith Thompson (Charlene), sisters-in-law Dorothy Thompson, Esther Thompson, Peggy Thompson, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Walker was predeceased by her siblings, George (Bertha), Allan (Beatrice), Lloyd (Lenore), Eileen (Stu Stewart), Lee, Ken.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe where the funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m.  Reverend Ward Taylor officiating followed by interment at Oakwood Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in Marion’s memory are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society Haldimand-Norfolk.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
