June 24, 1927 - September 17, 2018

Peggy passed away peacefully in her sleep at Dearness Home in London, ON, in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Roy Shortt (2000), her parents Hugh and Mary Jessie MacIsaac, brothers John, Hugh, Charles, Joe, Alec, Dan and Duncan MacIsaac, and sisters Lena Worth, Jessie Peterson and Hughina Blakely. She is survived by her children Danny Shortt, Nancy Weaver, Susan Bolton (Randy), Rodney Shortt (Michelle), Daphne Shortt (Tom), and Jennifer Storm. She will also be lovingly remembered by her ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Born in Cape Breton, NS and raised in Timmins, ON, Peggy spent most of her adult life in Simcoe as a registered nurse at Norfolk General Hospital. In her spare time she was an avid bridge player, reader and swimmer. Her favourite past time was shopping for the latest fashions. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Simcoe, ON. THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME 96 Norfolk St N., Simcoe, in care of arrangements.
