Obituary of Charles Richard King

KING – Charles Richard (Dick):  Passed away at his home while surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in his 89th year.  Son of the late Clarence and Gertrude King and stepson of the late Mildred King.  Much beloved husband of Ruth.  Loving father of Lisa DeSerrano (Rob) and their children, Desiree Worgan (Kyle) and Natalie DeSerrano.  Loving step-father of Patti Magnus (Craig) and their children Luba and Seamus.  Dick was predeceased by his first wife Janet  and his brother Jim. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Ann King and brother-in-law Bob Whitehead (Lynn), Ruth’s son Michael Marra and  several nieces and nephews. Dick was the owner of King’s Men s Wear for many years and also worked at Budds in the men's wear department.  He was involved in the community as a member of the Simcoe Kinsmen Club and K40 Club and was a past Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, October 10 from 5 -7pm at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME 96 Norfolk St N., Simcoe.  A private family service will be held with interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
