Obituary of William John Spahr

SPAHR – William John:  It is with great sorrow the family of Bill has to announce his passing on Friday, February 22, 2019 in his 79th year.  Lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Johanna (Marian nee: Vermuelen) for 57 years.  In sorrow are their children Lorri Kruis (Jerome), Yvonne Passmore (Rick), Diana Rainville(Serge), Cindy Hockley (Dave), Danielle Simington (Adam).  Also surviving are his 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, siblings Verna (George Fletcher), Barb (Jim Noonan), Jeanne (Mike Wright), Ken (Rose), Alan, sisters-in-law Norma Spahr, Linda Spahr, brother and  sister-in-law Hans and Grace Vermuelen, and many nieces and nephews.  Bill was predeceased by his parents Jack and Kathleen Spahr, brothers Lloyd and Barry, Parents-in-law John and HendrikaVermeulen.  Bill was a retired Stelco Employee with 40 years of service.
