Obituary of Catherine Colling

COLLING – Catherine (Kay):  Passed away peacefully at The Brantford General Hospital on Monday, March 4, 2019 of Simcoe in her 99^th year.  Daughter of the Late Louis and Louise Hervé.  Beloved wife of the Late Gordon Colling (1983).  Loving mother of Ginny Colling (Rob Ferguson), Jane Brown (Bob) and Gayle Waite (Stephen).  Cherished grandmother of Breanna Ferguson, Jason Ramsay-Brown, Alex Waite, Danielle Waite and great-grandmother of Abbey.  Also surviving are her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.  Kay was predeceased by her siblings, Marie, Anna, Marg, Ethel, Rose and Louis and sister-in-law Jean and brothers-in-law George and Lorne.  Together with her husband they operated the Colling Shoe Store on Robinson St in Simcoe for many years. A Celebration of Kay’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1 p.m. at ST. JAMES UNITED CHURCH, 150 Colborne St. S., Simcoe.  Reverend Barry Bain officiating.  Cremation has taken place and interment at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to make a donation in Kay’s memory are asked to consider The Senior’s Center or a Charity of One’s Choice.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
