Val, Michele, Jennifer and families, I was saddened to hear about Harry's passing. We always had a good chat, (usually at the grocery store) about anything and everything. Harry came from the same city in Friesland as my parents, so we also had a bit of a dutch connection.
I had a chance to golf with him last summer, and was sorry that I didn't get a chance to do so when he was younger. He still had a great swing but the ball wasn't travelling nearly as far as he thought it should. We did have a good day together.
I will never forget sharing a plane ride home from Florida to Niagara Falls a few years ago, he had a way of making a lot of new friends within a few hours time.He was always smiling and he had the gift of gab, a good salesman.
Unfortunately i didn't get a chance to come to visitation, but wanted to let you know I am thinking about you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will truly miss your Dad’s smile and ‘hellos’! He always made you feel so glad that you had crossed his path and took a genuine interest in your life. I will treasure the many memories I hold of your Mom and Dad over our younger years. Uncle Harry and Aunt Hyacinth, always had a special place in my heart and there they will remain.
