Obituary of Jean Marie Bethune

BETHUNE - Jean Marie - passed peacefully early Wednesday, June 26^th, 2019 at The Norfolk General Hospital in her 85^th year.  Daughter of the late George and Laura Thompson. Predeceased by her loving partner Arnold Haskett. Mother of Margaret (Bob) Richard, and Patricia (Wayne) Tobin; grandmother to Katie Richard; Alicia (John) Garcia, Hillary, and Jillian Tobin; brother Robert Thompson (Donna), and sister Linda Knoll. Jean was especially caring and generous with family and friends. Never forgot a birthday or bringing a little something home for those close to her from her travels. She made people feel special by always asking their names, and speaking to them to get to know them. Cremation has taken place. Visitation begins at 1:00PM on Thursday, July 4^th, 2019 Service will follow with a reception afterwards. All will be held at Woodhouse United Church.
