To Nancy's family. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear mother and grandmother.
She was one of the first people I had the pleasure to work with at Union Gas in Simcoe.
It was so nice to get reaquainted with her at our Union Gas ladies reunion a few years ago.
She was a wise and wonderful lady who will be missed by all who knew her.
Sincerely
Lynda LaPlante

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Nancy when she was a Resident at Rosewood Senior Living.

My most sincere condolences to you both, Ian and Deirdre! and to your family as well. It was such a blessing and an honour to have had Nancy in our Trinity Simcoe church choir for so many years, even before I began my music ministry there in 1993. She was my number one supporter and a good friend as well. She set the standards high for the choir with her stories of how it was done in the cathedral choir she used to sing in and I was thankful for her complete dedication to the choir. I loved her hugs and the twinkle in her eyes when she smiled and laughed. I marveled at the beauty of her art work, and also how her artistic talents were reflected in the lovely pastels she chose to wear: always so beautifully dressed. I am sad not to be at the graveside on Thursday, but my husband John will be there and my heart will be too. Our boys, Ian and Kevin, now 26 and 22 send their love and condolences too. She watched them both grow up: she was like a third grandmother to them. God bless you all at this difficult time; the many memories of this beautiful soul will console us all I know. She is singing with angels already I'm sure. <3

Ian and Deirdre,
Your mom is smiling down at us as she celebrates her glory with her Lord. She was a beautiful lady and always thought of everyone else and gave them little gifts ....I still run across statues, book marks and photos that she gave to me and my daughter Laryssa over the years. I even have one of her paintings that I cherish and look at often.
I know she never complained about her woes and loved every minute of our visits with her.
I’m sorry I can’t be at the graveside, although in my heart of hearts I want to be there. I will be on my way to Europe for my honeymoon right at that point but you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless you and yours
Ingrid
