Obituary of Dianna Lynn Van Assche

VAN ASSCHE – Dianna Lynn:  Passed away at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga on Saturday, August 3, 2019 after a brief battle with cancer.  Daughter of Jim and the Late Shirley Gable.  Much beloved wife of the Late Andre (Andy) Van Assche (2018).  Loving mother of Jennifer (Richard Williams) and Andrew (Victoria Duncan).  Cherished grandmother of Nathan, Cynthia and Zacky.  Also surviving is her mother-in-law Betty Van Assche, her siblings Jim Gable (Arlene), John Gable, Alice Gable (Cam Taylor) , sisters-in-law Christa Kovacs (David), Willy Moodie (Chris), Donna Van Assche, brother-in-law Dale Van Assche (Beth), Aunt Ruth Gable, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Dianna was predeceased by her brother-in-law Brian Van Assche.  She worked as a Manager for Rexall Drug Store.  Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Dianna’s Life will be held at THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH #125, 249 Main St., Delhi from 1pm-4pm.  THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to make a donation in Dianna’s memory are asked to consider The Canadian Breast Cancer Society.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
