Obituary of Freida Delores McLean

McLEAN – Freida Delores:  Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at The Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 of Simcoe, formerly Delhi, in her 82^nd year.  Daughter of the Late Charles and Lena Swick.  Much beloved wife of the Late Jack McLean (1989).  Loving mother of Brenda (Sandy Watson), David (Michelle), Bernice and Wendy.  Cherished grandmother of Stefanie (Andrew), Matthew (Stacie), Ashley (Matt), Taylor, Mackenzie (Chase), Derrick, Lindsey, Karen, Susan, Kevin and great-grandmother of Myles, Mychael, Meghan, Nash, Tinsley and Tess.  Also surviving are her siblings, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 1 – 4 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe.  Cremation to follow with interment at Lynnville Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to make a donation in Freida’s memory are asked to consider Diabetes Canada and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  The family would like thank the Nursing Home staff for their compassion, care and dedication.  A special thank you to Cathy who went beyond her call as a nurse and who provided a cherished friendship to our mother.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
