Obituary of Brian Copperthwaite

COPPERTHWAITE – Brian:  Passed away at The Norfolk General Hospital onTuesday, September 17, 2019 in his 81^st year.  Born in York, England to Late Stanley and Eva Copperthwaite.  He is survived by his 1^st wife Patricia (Tucker) and his 2^nd wife Rita (Poole).  Loving father of Allan (Carmen), Tracey (Kevin White) and Stuart.  Cherished grandfather of Nicole (Will) and Ryan.  Also surviving is his brother Derek (Jill) and sister-in-law Patricia.  He was predeceased by his brother Terry. Brian moved to Canada with his parents and two brothers in 1953 where he was self-employed as a painter. His favorite pastimes were playing his organ, solitaire, tinkering away in the garden and spending time with those he loved.   Cremation has taken place with A Celebration of Life Service to be held at a later date.  BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to make a donation in Brian’s memory are asked to consider The Canadian Cancer Society.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
