Obituary of Mary Smith

SMITH – Mary: Passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in her 90th year. Daughter of the Late Peter and Annie Sauchuk. Much beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Smith (1986). Loving mother of Marybeth Antonissen (Henry), Robert, Tom (Karen), John (Jeannie), Tim (Elaine) and Sally Chambers (Ric). Also surviving are her grandchildren, step grandchildren, and 2 great grandsons. Mary was predeceased by her brothers George, Peter and sister Annie. She will be fondly remembered for serving goodies from the ballpark booth. She was the last founding member of the Vittoria Lamport Seniors Club. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, December 20, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 – 11 a.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe where the funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Reverend Ward Taylor officiating followed by interment at Woodhouse United Cemetery.
