Obituary of Andrew Malo

MALO – Andrew: Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2017 while surrounded by his family. Mr. Andrew Malo of R.R.#4 Simcoe in his 93rd year. Born in Czechoslovakia and the son of the Late Andrew and Annie Malo. Much beloved husband of the Late May (Lukas 2006) for over 55 years. Loving father of Mary Anne Nightingale and her husband Bob of Simcoe; Nancy Hoffman and her husband Peter of Kitchener and Judy Kormos and her husband Larry of Simcoe and was predeceased by his daughter Cathy Joseph (2001). Cherished grandfather of Ryan (Leanne) and Darren Nightingale; Andrew, Julianne (Tyler Shipp) and Jenna Hoffman; Rachel, Jonathan and Natalie Kormos and Karen, Michael and Megan Joseph. Great-grandfather of Brinley, Victoria, Lukas and Maddox. Also surviving is his brother George Malo (Edna) of Toronto; sister-in-law Mary Malo of Simcoe; numerous nieces and nephews. Andrew was predeceased by his brother John Malo (1999). Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 3 – 7 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 211 Union St. Simcoe. Father Al Dufraimont Celebrant. Followed by a private family interment at Port Dover Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Andrew’s memory are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.
