VAN EDE – Johannes Hendrikus (John): Passed away peacefully at The Norfolk General Hospital with his family at his side on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in his 78th year. Dear partner of Mary McGowan. Loving father of Cindy (Randy Hill), Bruce, Brenda and was predeceased by daughter Sharon. Cherished grandfather of Mitchell and Dylan Hill, Zachary, Mackenzie, Derek and Matthew Van Ede. John is also survived by his sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. In keeping with John’s wishes there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place.
