Obituary of Ellen Joyce Johnson

JOHNSON – Ellen Joyce:  Passed away peacefully at The Norfolk General Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2017 in her 84th year.  Much beloved wife of Don Johnson for over 66 years.  Loving mother of Connie (Rob Cameron), Neil (Donna) and Cheryl (Ken Way).  Cherished grandmother of Shawn (Jill), Amanda (James), Robyn (Ian), Karen (Mike), Sarah (Steve), Katie, Samantha (Derek), Elora, Julia,Tanya (Jason), Rachel (Ryan), Courtney (Michael) and great-grandmother of Ryleigh, Paysen, Connor, Chloe, Caleigh, Liam, Lauren, Alivia, Thomas, Alice, Kendall, Carter, Morgan and Ben.  Also surviving is her sister Irene Snively, Sisters-in-law Jean Francis, Audrey Francis, Flo, Winnie (John), Lorraine, Herb Johnson (Jennie) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Ellen was predeceased by her parents Albert and Sylvia Francis, brothers Ron, Grant and brother-in-law Bruce. Ellen was a life member of the IODE and a 50 year volunteer of Norfolk General Hospital.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 11 – 1 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe where the funeral will be held on Friday at 1 p.m.  Reverend Bryan Robertson officiating followed by cremation with interment in the family plot  Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to make a donation in Ellen’s memory are asked to consider The Who Did It Club.  On line condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
