Obituary of Marie Koopman

KOOPMAN – Marie Petronella:  Passed away at Norview Lodge on Friday, April 20, 2018 in her 87^th year.  Much beloved wife of the Late John Koopman (2005).  Loving mother of Chris and his wife Pamela, Ted and his wife Judith, Vera and her husband Brian Axford, Simon and his wife Sue, Theresa and her husband Allan Sulisz, Mike and his wife Joyce, Tony and his wife Sam.  Cherished grandmother of Aaron (Zandra), Myles (Cassi), Nick (Jessica), Tristan, Hayley, Marsha (Mark), Michelle (Tom), John, Theresa (Shaun), Jessica, Rebecca, Devan (Alanna), Colton, Nathan, Trevor, Nelson, Brennan and great-grandmother of 11.  Also surviving is her family in Holland, nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Koopman was predeceased by her parents and her 12 siblings.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe where Parish Prayers will be said Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 211 Union St., Simcoe on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Reverend Father Lucio Celebrant.  Followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in Marie’s memory are asked to consider The Alzheimer’s Society.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
