Obituary of Nicholas de Goede

de GOEDE – Nicholas Cornelius:  Passed away at The Norfolk General Hospital on Sunday, July 22, 2018, of Simcoe in his 79^th year.  Son of the Late Nicholas and Anna de Goede.  Much beloved husband of Margaret (nee: Podplatan).  Loving father of John de Goede (Dawn) and Catherine de Goede.  Cherished grandfather of Chelsea, Dalton, Sasha and great-grandfather of Deegan.  Also surviving 2 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law, nieces and nephews and his family in Holland. Nicholas was predeceased by 3 brothers, 1 sister and a brother-in-law.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 211 Union St. Simcoe on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11 a.m.  Reverend Father Lucio Couto, Celebrant.  Cremation has taken place.  THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk ST.
