I send my condolences to the family.
Clarence will be missed terribly. He was always ready to help out his friends.
I was so wanting to be at the Memorial Service but my Chiari symptoms kept my dad and I away.
I look forward to seeing my friend Clarence in Heaven one day. Until then I have beautiful memories of my dear friend. I will miss his stories and his fellowship.
Sending my love to Esther, Shelley, Lisa and Chris.

To Sweet Esther, Chris and Shelley and families,
Seldom has your Johnson Family, south of the border, been so sadden by the lost of one of the sweetest men that walked the Earth. Cousin Esther, God saved a man just for you…and he was one of sweetest men that ever walked this troubled earth. The kindness in his voice, the sweetness in his eyes and the unmistaken joy and confidence in his words-expressed….made him one of God’s Choice’s Messenger on this Earth. And now, he awaits us!
Jan and Kathy and their families join Sue and I in sending this simple note that expresses our sadness and sorrow in each of your lives, yet also share in the anticipated joy of our reunion, which by all indications from this troubled Earth, could be coming soon. What a day that will be when Olive Bowen, Norma Shay along with Cliff Johnson and “Bush” (as you folks knew him/to us, Forrest) be caught up into the Glorious Presence of God Himself!
So Lord haste the day when our faith shall be made sight!
Peace to each of your sadden hearts!
With Affection
Dan & Sue Johnson, along with Kathy and Janet’s families

Our family was saddened at the loss of such a great man!
I remember him driving the bus for VBS when I was a kid and never heard him get the slightest bit frustrated with the noisy kids.
He seemed to be a friend to everyone and will be greatly missed.
Our deepest condolences and fervent prayers are with all of you.

Dear Esther and family, We are in South Korea visiting our daughter but we wanted to express our love for you and encourage you as you celebrate Clarence going home with our Lord. As hard as it is to say 'goodbye' it's wonderful knowing he's safe in the Lord's hands and we will be looking forward to seeing him there when our turn comes. Clarence and Esther were so encouraging to us at Benton. We will be praying for all of you. With love and prayers, Peter and Darlene Vanderweide

We have always known Clarence as a very good and Godly man who had character and lived with integrity. It has and always will be an honour to call him our friend. We will miss the laughter, warm friendship, the wonderful conversations, his passion to share his faith and his big heart always available to those who asked for help or guidance. He was there for us when we needed him and his support strengthened, encouraged and enabled us to move forward in our God-given mission. We miss him dearly but we know we will meet again.
