Obituary of Shirley Irene Moyer

MOYER – Shirley Irene:  Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Norview Lodge in her 90^th year.  Daughter of the Late Owen and Ella Richards.  Much beloved wife of the Late Donald Moyer (2002).  Loving mother of Larry Moyer (Tracey Garness) and Joan Gilchrist (Bob).  Cherished grandmother of Lauren (Rob), Ben, Daniel (Ashlee), Adam, Logan, Mollie, Jaymee, Tucker and great grandmother of Zoe, Braden, Ryker, Lucy and Addison.  Also surviving is her daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Moyer, her sisters Betty Hogarth, Barbara Crabb (Mike), Nancy Wencel (Jim) and nieces and nephews.  Shirley was predeceased by her sister Noreen Cudmore and brothers-in-law Bob Cudmore and Bruce Hogarth.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 7 – 9 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe.  The Funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 129 Young St., Simcoe.  Cremation to follow with interment at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to make a donation in Shirley’s memory are asked to consider The Alzheimer’s Society or a Charity of One’s Choice.  Online condolences at www.baldockfuneralhome.com
